Chief Executive Officer
Betsy Seaton has been the President and Chief Executive Officer for Northern Aviation Services, LLC since January 2019. She is responsible for strategic direction and planning overall safety compliance and initiatives, and other corporate management. She began her career at the Boston Consulting Group then spent 22 years at Weyerhaeuser in a variety of roles centered around strategic planning, enterprise resources palnning, P&L leadership and improving operations. Previously, Ms. Seaton was the Senior VP at Saltchuk Resources, Inc. where she worked with Saltchuk leaders to improve operations and increase collaboration between the company’s six business units. She is a graduate of Princeton University and earned a J.D. / M.B.A from the University of Chicago. In addition to strategy and finance leadership, she has more than ten years of experience as a Board member and advisor to a wide range of organizations, including Columbia Bank, Liaison Technologies and Planned Parenthood.
Chief Operations Officer
Rich Macri joined Northern Aviation Service,s LLC, in 2018. He is responsible for the overall management of Northern Air Cargo’s airline operations including the systems operation, flight operations, maintenance and safety. He was the COO and Senior VP for Western Global Airlines from 2013 – 2018 and was instrumental in the start-up of the operation and resultant Air Carrier Certificate. During his time at Western Global he was also resposible for implementing the Part 121 SMS program and obtaining Department of Defense Certification to become a CRAF carrier. Prior to that, Mr. Macri worked for Southern Air in a variety of positions (Director of Government Programs, Director of Quality Assurance and Director of System Operations) over a period of 10 years. He has a BS in Aviation and Business Management, Graduated Cum Laude / Deans List, is a Certificated IOSA Auditor, Member of NACA and NDTA, and maintains a FAA Dispatcher’s License.
Chief Finance Officer
Lissette Balbiers joined Northern Aviation Services, LLC in 2019 and is responsible for corporate finance, accounting, and business analysis. Previously, she operated a business / financial consultant business providing strategies and process implementations to clients in a variety of business settings, including aviation, to maximum success and profitability. Ms. Balbiers worked as the CFO Aviation & Network Operations for DHL Express from 2003 – 2015 in the Americas and Belgium. She obtained a BS in Business Administration at New Mexico State University and is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
Ann Campbell joined Northern Aviation Services, LLC in 2012 and oversees general administration, contracting, risk management, strategy planning, technical publications and marketing. Previously, she served as a principal in the consulting firm of Aurora Consulting, which provides business development, organizational consulting and management consulting services throughout Alaska. She has over thirty years of experience providing feasibility studies, business plans, organizational consulting, market research, development plans and project implementation assistance essential to successful business growth. She served as the Vice President of Operations of Alaska Village Initiatives/Community Enterprise Development Corporation of Alaska. During her seventeen year tenure, she was responsible for the execution of overall corporate goals and objectives as well as managed a variety of statewide technical assistance, lending and economic development projects.
VP of Human Resources
Tim Healy joined Northern Aviation Services, LLC in 2019. He is responsible for overall human resource activities for the NAS family of companies including benefits management, recruitment, succession planning, leadership and employee development and compensation management. He was previously managed all aspects of HR, with an emphasis on leadership and organizational development as the Director of Human Resources for several medium business from 2017 to 2019, the Vice President of HR, for Domtar Pulp and Paper Division, HR manager for T-Mobile and a variety of HR roles for Weyerhaeuser Company from 1990 to 2009. . He obtained a Masters in Business Administration at University of Southern California and a BA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Western Washington University.
General Manager – Aloha Air Cargo
Travis Colbert assumed the role of General Manager at Aloha Air Cargo after one year as the Director of Air Cargo Operations. Reporting to the President and CEO of our parent corporation, he is the senior executive in Hawaii responsible for the daily operations of the airline. As Director of Air Cargo Ops Travis managed the teams and directed the overall operations and maintenance of seven different stations in the Aloha Air network (Hawaiian islands, LAX, and LAS). Full P&L responsibility for Cargo Operations. Broad knowledge of all operational air cargo aspects along the supply chain, including familiarity with cargo ground, flight, and warehouse operations
